The local board of the Airlie Beach Safe Night Precinct is the first recipient of a seed funding grant.
The Queensland Government has provided a funding pool of $750,000 to assist Safe Night Precincts (SNPs) in their establishment and administration. SNP local boards can apply for seed funding of up to $50,000 in total. Associations that have been prescribed as the local board for an SNP are encouraged to apply for seed funding at any time.
All SNP boards should have received a copy of the funding guidelines and an application form. Additional copies can be accessed online or by contacting the SNP team on (07) 3033 0007 or snp@justice.qld.gov.au
Go to Safe Night Precincts for full details of SNP operational grants, including information on how to apply for funding.
