Changes to trading hours
Safe Night Precincts
From 1st July 2016, late-trading venues will be able to sell alcohol until 3am. Venues in the safe night precinct can also remain open beyond 3am to serve food and non-alcoholic beverages, and to provide entertainment. The 30min ‘grace period’ after last drinks are called will still apply.
If you currently have approved extended trading hours to sell alcohol until (say) 5am, these trading hours will automatically be reduced to 3am. If your current extended trading hours finish before 3am, your current trading hours will still apply
