How does your gambling stack up?
This is the question OLGR is posing to Queensland gamblers during Responsible Gambling Awareness Week (RGAW) 2018, which is being held from 30 July to 5 August.
Every year RGAW aims to encourage gamblers to stay within their limits and highlights support available to people who feel that gambling has become a problem for them, or someone they know.
The Queensland Government has worked with the government-funded Gambling Help services to develop a theme for RGAW 2018. This year’s theme focuses on self-help and invites people to check their gambling habits using a self-assessment tool available on the new Gambling Help Queensland website, gamblinghelpqld.org.au
Show your support. Signage and electronic LCD displays will be made available closer to RGAW 2018. Or, you can contact your local Gambling Help service to find out how you can get involved in local activities.
